I have never tried anything like this. Definitely my worst hotel experience I have ever had. There was hair in the bed and on the bathroom sink. There was a used coffee cup on the table as well. And as if that was not all, the toilet was missing the seat, it was dirty and couldn’t flush properly. Even though we had booked and prepaid, they told us, that they couldn’t find our payment or booking at all and wanted it in cash the morning after. I can NOT recommend this hotel at all!

This hotel is the worst I have ever been in. The room was so disgusting, it had NOT been cleaned, used coffe cups, the bed linens had not been washed and the bathroom had dirt and hair everywhere, the toilet seat was missing and the toilet was yellow and brown all over. I would NEVER go back here and I would never recommend this place to anyone!! We had payed before we arrived but ‘apparently’ it hadn’t gone through and they couldn’t find the payments so the morning after we had to pay again in cash… Once again worst hotel ever!!!!!!!

This is a 2 star hotel in a developing country. Don't expect too much and you'll have a nice stay. The towels and sheets are clean. Everything is a little worn out and a bit broken but mostly still works. The staff work with what they have and are super friendly. All the rooms are upstairs and the ones at the front are directly opposite a 24hr nightclub. You can get a foot massage in the foyer and there are nice coffee shops downstairs and close to everything.

The first few times I met Tony he was great. But then my mother came to town. I told him multiple times that she cannot climb many floors of stairs. He told me no problem. Last 3 times I've stayed with him, he moved me and my mom to 2 different hotels on the 3rd and 4th floor after telling me he had me booked at his main hotel for the first floor. He's a great guym incredibly helpful but his service has dropped tremendously. He also asked if I wanted drugs. I don't do drugs and this wasn't the first time he asked. When I continued to tell him no Sir I don't do drugs he just laughed at me. When I confronted him about his booking screw up, he brushed it off. The woman that helps him out is absolutely wonderful. I don't know if he's over worked but if you have any specific requirements, I wouldn't recommend staying with him. If you're there for the basics, his prices are reasonable and I would recommend it.

After booking the hotel online, we arrived after a bus from Cat Ba island and a taxi from the bus station, to be told that the 2 night stay we had booked is going to be double the price on my booking. As this was very unexpected and rudely thrown upon us, we were left with little choice. Be aware of the price before paying as the online booking says one thing and they charge you double on arrival, claiming their internet sometimes shows an incorrect price. We did manage to find a much more modern hotel around the corner for a lot cheaper.
